11/01/07 - Kitchen fire displaces residents of multifamily house in Port Chester. Red Cross Called. No Firefighters were hurt.

All the residents of a multi-family home on Fox Island Road escaped a kitchen fire before anyone was injured last night, the fire department said.

The 10:45 p.m. house fire near Grace Church street was put out about 10 minutes after the Port Chester Fire Department arrived. No firefighters were injured.

The cause was yet to be determined this morning, although it is not thought to be suspicious, the fire department said.......
