Park plan caught in traffic jam

Designers of a pocket park proposed for the Byram waterfront are facing an unexpected hurdle.
Planned on the site of a town-owned parking lot between Interstate Lumber and J. Catalano and Sons boatyard and marina, the park configuration does not leave enough room for boat trailers and other trucks to access a garage bay at the boatyard.

People have vested a lot of time and energy into the Byram plan, and, therefore, we would like to see it come to fruition. The pocket parks are sort of like the first step.
