Dominick Glowacki, 27, of 363 Wilett Ave., Port Chester, N.Y., and Brian Steed, 37, of West Putnam Avenue, appeared separately in court wearing grey sweat suits as their lawyers entered the pleas.
Both cases are set to move to a docket reserved for more serious cases.
Glowacki was charged with first-degree robbery after he was caught fleeing up Greenwich Avenue with 924 OxyContin pills stolen from CVS, police said.
Police said Glowacki used a BB gun that looked like a real firearm to commit the robbery. No one was injured during the incident.
Once in custody, Glowacki allegedly told police he was a drug addict who had been unemployed for several years. He said he decided to rob the pharmacy to maintain his high after waking up hung over from heroin, cocaine and alcohol, police said.
During the interview, police said they determined Glowacki had been staying with Steed the night before the CVS robbery. Steed is charged with robbing a Subway Restaurant on Greenwich Avenue days before using the same gun and hooded sweatshirt as Glowacki.
Glowacki told police Steed made comments about the robbery and showed him the money he obtained from the incident, according to police. Police said Steed slammed a gun on the counter in front of a Subway employee and fled with money after ordering a sandwich. No one was injured.
Police said they believe Steed went back to an apartment just around the corner on West Putnam Avenue after committing the robbery. Steed was arrested shortly after Glowacki and charged with first-degree robbery.
Due to the connection of the cases, attorneys for the suspects asked a judge to make sure the two were in constant separation on days when they are brought to court.
Both suspects remain held on $100,000 bonds. Glowacki and Steed are slated to return to state Superior Court April 21.
