09/23/07 - Port Chester News Paper Publisher Falsley Claims That Rival News Paper Publisher Assulted Him At Public Meeting.

Abel's Fables

Westmore News Founder Bernie Abel And His Son Westmore News Publisher Richard Abel Once Again Disrupt The Rye Town Board Meeting, Because Of Bernie Abel's Failure To Fully Pay His Property Taxes.

At the last Rye Town Board Meeting I sat by the back door of the court room and passed out copies of "Port Chester's Most Influential Newspaper" - The True Blue Conservative Review.

Virtually every single person attending the meeting quietly took a copy of the paper. All of the Rye Town Board Members, including Billy "I Have An Inferiority Complex, Because I Failed To Graduate From High School" Vilanova took a copy of the latest edition of the True Blue Conservative Review.

All of the candidates, including Joe "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin, quietly took a copy of the True Blue Conservative Review.

Just about everyone said thank you as I passed out copies of the True Blue Conservative Review. However, when disgraced ex-Port Chester Republican Chairman Janus "I Am Such A Disgrace I Don't Use My Real Last Name" Richards arrived at the meeting I quietly offered him a copy of the True Blue Conservative Review as he walked in the door.

Janus arrived late and the Rye Town Board was in session. As I held out the Paper Janus disrupted the meeting with a loud out burst screaming in a crazed manor.

Janus continued create a loud public disturbance saying that he was going to have me arrested for Harassment. I and other audience member's just looked in shock as Janus went on and on.

Eventually, Janus stopped engaging in this bizarre public outburst and sat down next to Joe Carvin.

Later, I spoke at the public meeting and complained that Abel's were on a vendetta against the Town, because the Westmore News founder had once again been caught not paying all of his property taxes.

I explained that Bernie And Richard Abel had used their Paper the Westmore News to mislead the taxpayers of Port Chester about the cause of their massive tax increases.

I explained that the Town's total budget was only about 4 million dollars, and that their were restaurants in Port Chester that gross more than 4 million dollars a year.

I further, explained that the town tax had actually went decreased two years in a row.

I then pointed out that the out of control Port Chester School Taxes have went up 13.5% this year alone.

This 13.5% increase equalled about 5 million more dollars that Port Chester and Rye Brook residents would have to pay.

I then stated that for the Town to increase taxes by the same amount that the school had the town would have to reverse this years decrease and then raise Town taxes, by more than 125%.

I then stated that Richard and Bernie Abel and the Westmore news were misleading the residents of Port Chester with their biased reporting. I complained that their was virtually no reporting of the out of control school spending.

I also addressed the audits that Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova and the Abel's keep going on and on about.

I mentioned that the auditors statements were just opinions and that I could go and get every Port Chester and Rye Brook audit for the last 30 years are more and each and everyone of those audits would have similar types of comments and opinions.

I even further stated that no City, Town or Village in Westchester County has gotten a comment free audit in the last 30 years.

After, my time was up Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova started trying to discredit my factual arguments by saying that the True Blue Conservative was not printed in Port Chester.

I am still trying to figure out what Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova's point was.

I mean the Westmore News is not printed in Port Chester.

I mean the Journal News is not printed in Port Chester.

What does where a paper is printed have to do with the Abel's biased reporting in the Westmore News?

Actually, some times Port Chester's most influential newspaper - The True Blue Conservative Review is printed in Port Chester at Pronto Printers on Putnam Avenue in Port Chester.

Was Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova trying to say that the my factual arguments about the Town and the Abel's biased reporting were not valid, because the True Blue Conservative Review is sometimes printed in Port Chester.

Well after Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Vilanova stopped questiong me and grilling me and started walking to my seat.

As I walked by Richard Abel, he sarcastically said, "Good job."

I touched his shoulder said, "Thank you."

This was not very unusual because, Bernie and Richard often have went up to the podium and sarcastically say to the Rye Town Supervisor,"Your friend did a good job."

So I continued walking back to my seat and sat down as Bernie And Richard Abel started screaming and yelling that they had been assaulted by me. They were running all over the court room like a bunch of Gilly boys saying ignorant things like, "Help, Arrest that man." I just sat in my seat and quietly watched Bernie and Richard jump around the court room.

As everyone in town knows, they constantly disrupt the Rye Town Meeting in this manner. In fact, the town had to start hiring a police officer, because Bernie and Richard often had crazed outbursts like this.

Well as usual the Rye Town Meeting had to come to a stop, because of the Abel's continued prancing and leaping around the court room.

The police officer ordered the two silly boys to sit down, but Richard Abel ran up and grabbed the podium and said he wanted to give public comments as he pretended to have trouble breathing.

I and the rest of the audience sat stunned watching the maniac Richard Abel.

Eventually, the police officer got Bernie and Richard to go out in the Hallway.

I then heard Joe Carvin who was sitting close to me ask ex-Port Chester Republican Chairnan Janus Richards what is Richard Abel doing.

I then saw Janus Richards point at me and say that we are going to get a restraining order against him, so that he can not come to anymore meetings.

I also heard Richard and Bernie Abel argue with the police officer demanding that I be arrested. I heard the officer tell them that their had been no assault and that they were going to be arrested if they did not go inside a sit down and stop disrupting the meeting.

Richard and Bernie did not take the police officers threat of arrest very well. However, they eventually went and sat down. Soon Richard Abel was once again disrupting the meeting. He pulled out his cell phone and started to make a call.

Richard Abel's wife, who had sat quietly as her husband and father in law once again made complete fools of themselves. Ms. Abel ask her husband, "Who are you calling?" and Richard Abel responded by saying he was calling the Port Chester Police Department, because the officer at the meeting was not doing his job.

The officer motioned for Richard to put his phone away and Richard went into the hallway.

Richard Abel came back in the courtroom and proclaimed that the police were on the way.

The police showed up and the officer on duty in the courtroom asked me to go downstairs to speak to the arriving officers.

The officer on duty in the courtroom told the two other officers that I had not assaulted Richard Abel and that there were a lot of people up at the meeting and that the Abel's were "turning the place into a zoo."

The three officers decided that they would have everyone leave.

I said I had no problem with this solution, because the meeting was almost over. I also said that I wasn't sure if the Abel's would follow police orders.

Two officers went up to get the Abel's who argued and resisted the officers requests. I could hear the Ables arguing with the officers at the top of the stairway. That were saying that they were afraid to leave, because they were scared that I would hurt somehow.

So I told the officer doorway.stairs with me, that I would just go home so that it would be easier for them to eject the disruptive Abel's.

The officer actually thanked me for making the offer and he went upstairs to assist the other two officers as I walked home.

However, I am told that the officers, backed down on trying to eject the disruptive Abel's and the meeting ended.

After, the meeting the Abel's continued to badger the officer on duty.

Latter, Joe Carvin, Richard Abel, Bernie Abel, ex-Port Chester Republican Chairman Janus Richards and Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Vilanova all went to their booth at the Port Chester Diner.

These guys all go out to the dinner after every Rye Town Board Meeting. The only thing different this time is Sam Terenzi didn't show up, because of his embarrassing conservative primary defeat the day before.

It is spooky how well Joe Carvin fits in so well with this sleazy bunch of characters.

Update:

Westmore News Publisher Richard Abel Files A False Police Report With The Port Chester Police Department.

Two days latter a detective Suppa calls me up and says he is investigating a complaint about Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel being assaulted.

I don't know who the Abel's finally got to help them fill out a false police report, I told detective Suppa the above story, and he was shocked to learn that a Port Chester police officer had witnessed the whole episode.

He then asked me to tell the whole story to Detective Vacarro, but then said they were going to get a copy of the Cablevision broadcast of the meeting in stead.

I told Detective Suppa that in the last week or so, Port Chester has had a rape, a runaway abducted by a Port Chester man and a slashing incident, pistol whipping, drug and robbery arrests, as well as break ins. In the midst of this Spike in violent crime the police department is going investigate the false police report of Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel.

I then pointed that Richard Abel's poor suffering wife sat quietly in her seat at her husband and father in law screamed and bounce around the court room. She even asked her husband not to call the second set of police officers.

I then told Detective Suppa, do you think that she would have sat their quietly if her husband and father in law had been assaulted.

Later, I thought maybe Richard Abel's poor suffering wife kind of wishes that someone would knock some sense into her husband and father in law.

I was then told, by Detective Suppa not to worry to much about this matter and they would contact me if they had to ask me any other questions

After the Port Chester Police Detective Suppa called me up I naturally had a few questions like...

1. Is it a crime to file a false police report or complaint? If so will the person be arrested? if so a. What type of crime is it (i.e. misdemeanor, felony, etc)?

2. Once it is deemed that the report/complaint was false can the victim sue (in civil court) the person who made the complaint? If yes What would be the basis (i.e. libel, slander, etc)?

So I researched these two questions and learned that.....

If the police and prosecutor choose to pursue the matter, Westmore News Publisher Richard Abel could be charged with a crime.

New York has three different statutes for filing false police reports, Penal Code Sections 240.50, 240.55, and 240.60. The penalty can be a misdemeanor or felony.

Moreover, the facts of this case would support an action for defamation, and possibly for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

I know that Bernie Abel and the Westmore News were recently involved in a defamation case against a Port Chester resident and the courts ordered Bernie to pay a very large judgement.

Maybe, I should sue the pants off Richard and Bernie Abel, as well as, the Westmore News and give the money to the Port Chester Schools, provided the schools become much more fiscally responsible.

Maybe, Bernie will have to make up for all those property tax bills that he forgot to pay after all.

UPDATE 2

Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel has really lost his mind he has been telling anyone who will listen that he stated that I hit him three times and that he is going to get the Westchester County District Attorney to prosecute me with his false charges.

Everybody including the Mayor of Port Chester thinks Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel has went nuts.

I went down to the Port Chester Police Department to get a copy of Richard Abel's false police report. I wanted to post the Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel's false police report right here at Port Chester Roundup so that everyone in town could see what a little weasel he is.

The Police said they said that I could not have the report, because they are still investigating Richard Abel's false claims.

In fact, Port Chester Lt. Royal Monroe kept pestering me to give a statement so they could get rid of Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel's false police report. Otherwise, Richard Abel's false report might actually be sent to the District Attorney's Office or be given to a Judge.

I told Lt. Monroe, I am putting everything about Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel online and I hope that Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel's false police report ends up in court. There were about 50 people at the Rye Town Meeting who will testify that there was no assault and Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel is vindictive little weasel who committed a crime by filing a false police report.

Jananne "It Is Not Easy Being Married To A drama Queen" Abel

I then told Lt. Royal Monroe that Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel's wife was sitting right behind Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel and Bernie "I Forgot To Pay Over 100 Property Tax Bills" Abel. All during the whole disturbance

I told Lt. Monroe that Ms. Abel sat there like a bump on a log, She didn't move or say a word. She has witnessed her husband and father and law disrupt the Rye Town Board Meeting scores of times.

I then told Lt. Monroe that if it was true that I had assaulted Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel and smacked him around three times at a public meeting she would have been screaming for help and the Port Chester Police Officer who was standing about 10 feet away would have grabbed me and arrested me.

Lt. Royal Monroe was surprised to learn that Ms. Abel was at the meeting and said that he would try and get a statement from her.

I then encouraged Lt. Royal Monroe to go and get a statement from Ms. Abel, because the more false reports from the Abel's the better. I told Lt. Monroe I was planning on suing the Abel's and the Westmore News for defamation, and for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

I told Lt. Royal Monroe that I was planning on giving all the money I won in court to the Port Chester Schools, if they will decrease the school budget two years in a row like the Town Of Rye has done. This will make up for the 100 plus tax bills that Bernie forgot to pay.

Lt. Monroe then told me that Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel had a witness that was going to tell the same false story. I then told Lt. Monroe I hope Joe "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin isn't going to join the Abels and also give a false statement., because he just might have to give all of his hedge fund money to the Port Chester schools to make up for the 100 plus property tax bills that Bernie forgot to pay.

The Chief of Police then told me that Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel had came to his office complaining that I had not been arrested. The Chief Of Police then told me that he told Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel that there had been no assault. The Chief then said that Richard Abel then wanted me to be arrested for harassment.

I then told the Chief Of Police that there was no way I harrassed Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel, becuase I had not even said a word to him alnight. Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel was the one who spoke first and said "Good Job" and I reponded with "Thank you".

I then told the Port Chester Chief of Police that this was just an attempt by Janus "I Am Such A Disgrace That I Don't Use My Real Last Name" Richards and Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel to try and get a restraining order so that I can not speak at the next Port Chester or Rye Town Board Meetings.

I then told the Chief Of Police that I thought it was absurd that Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel was taking up police time while Port Chester is in the middle of a crime wave. I mean in the last week or so a girl was rape, a girl was tortured by a Port Chester Guy, A man was pistol whipped, there has been a rash of burgularys and robberys, yet the Port Chester Police is wasting what few resoarces it has on Richard "The Drama Queen" Abel's false police report.

I then told the Port Chester Chief that I think I am going to file a Freedom Of Information Request and find out just how much Richard "The Drama Queen Abel's false police report cost the taxpayers of Port Chester.

The Chief Of Police told me that this matter was costing the village a lot of money, but they have to investigate every complaint. However, the Chief seemed upset that his department and men were being placed in the middle of this mess.

09/22/07 - Letter To The Editor - Forget Gotti, Pursue Illegal Immigrants

Forget Gotti, pursue illegal immigrants

When are the feds going to realize they just don't have what they need and what it takes to convict John Gotti Jr.? They have spent millions of dollars trying to make a case that they just can't make. Haven't they embarrassed themselves enough?

Could you imagine what good they could do if they took all that money and effort and went after the real criminals. We have over 12 million illegals in this country who have robbed us of billions of dollars in taxes and we're chasing a guy who owes $140,000. Gotti made an agreement to make restitution by mid-November and has dealt directly with the IRS as was the agreement. Last I checked, we are still in September. Our government needs to get their priorities straight and focus on some real issues. When are we going to realize that it is not the Mob that is ruining the fabric of our society but in fact it is the millions of illegals that are slowly killing all of us hard-working tax-paying Americans.

A handcuffed and scruffy-looking 26-year-old man accused of raping a woman then running away to Chicago was arraigned on two felony charges in Village Court today and returned to jail without bail.

Federico Ordaz-Cejia appeared in a crowded courtroom in a white sleeveless T-shirt, disheveled black hair and a beard shadow. Three letters of an "Ordaz" tattoo arched across his back that police had included as part of the rape suspect description were easily seen.

The suspect nodded his head and said nothing as a court interpreter explained in Spanish the two charges against him - first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping, both carrying maximum sentences of 25 years in prison.

Cejia did not enter a plea during his brief appearance.

Longtime Supervisor Robert Morabito swept to an easy victory over former town accountant Saverio Terenzi in the race for the Conservative line.

Morabito was ahead by a nearly 2-1 margin with 27 of 31 election districts reporting, according to unofficial results.

"I'm very grateful that the Conservatives thought that I was fiscally conservative enough to warrant their nomination," he said.

Both candidates were seeking the line in the race for the four-year, $17,150-a-year supervisor position, which Morabito has held for nearly 16 years.

Morabito, 51, who also has the Democratic and Working Families lines, said he is seeking re-election in order to see several projects to fruition, including the revaluation, an effort to reduce the town's carbon footprint and a plan with school districts and Rye Brook to build new ball fields at Port Chester Middle School.

He is the deputy commissioner of environmental facilities for Westchester County and a Port Chester resident.

Here we go again!
Chalking up the first ever Westchester County Soul Food Cook-Out earlier this summer as a success, the Office of African American Affairs is now planning for #2. The next free healthy cook-out event will be Sat., Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Weber Drive in Port Chester.
Just as the kick-off June event at Yosemite Park was geared to Greenburgh residents, this one is for the Port Chester community. The county particularly hopes for a good turnout from residents living in the neighboring Weber, Travis and Purdy housing complexes.
The Office of African American Affairs launched the community cook-out concept this summer as a creative way to encourage people -- especially in the Caribbean community -- to develop good nutritional habits. Student chefs from Westchester Community College will prepare favorite foods such as jerk chicken and an array of salads using healthier recipes and alternative ways of food preparation. Attendees get to sample the menu and take home the recipes.......

09/19/07 - Billy Vilanova Has Turned Out To The Biggest Two Faced Politician In All Of Port Chester And Rye Brook

The True Blue

Conservative Review

==============================

Published By Brian Harrod

==============================

Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Vilanova Is Not The Only Two Faced Politician.

************************************

When Billy Vilanova Sits Down At His Rye Town Council Seat He Should Tell The Residents If He Is Speaking As The Port Chester Republican Chairman Or As The Rye Town Councilman.

The True Blue Conservative is not often wrong, but when he screws up he really screws up.

The True Blue Conservative was wrong about Billy Villanova

As everyone knows the True Blue Conservative supported Billy Villanova's successful bid to be a Rye Town Councilman years ago.

The True Blue Conservative argued that the Rye Town Board should be a politically mixed board. So the True Blue Conservative supported the first available Republican who wanted to be a Rye Town Councilman. So when Billy Villinova announced his candidacy.

I strongly argued that every political board needed two sets of eyes to protect the peoples interests. So I supported Billy Villanova so the 5 - 0 Democratic Board would be diversified. I also supported Dennis Pilla and Dan Brakewood drive to politically diversify the 7 - 0 Port Chester Republican Board.

Most everyone agrees that I was right in Port Chester, but wrong in Rye Town.

While Mayor Pilla and Trustee Brakewood have worked cooperatively with the Republican Majority, Billy Villanova has been an embarrassing failure.

I hate to admit it, but I was wrong about Billy Villanova.

Actually, Billy Villanova talked a good game. He told everyone that he just wanted to make the Town better and that he would work cooperatively with the other councilmen and women to improve the town.

But ever since Billy Villanova got on the Rye Town Board the Town Meetings have devolved into complete and utter chaos.

The problem is Billy has brought a bunch of creepy advisers and supporters to the Rye Town Meetings. First Billy brought Westmore News Founder Bernie "I Forgot To Pay 100 Property Tax Bills" Abel to disrupt the meetings.

Billy's Advisor and Buddy Bernie caused so many crazed and loud disruptions, the Town had to start hiring a police officer to maintain order at the meetings.

Then Billy Villanoova started bringing his political mentor ex-Port Chester Republican Chairman Janus "I Love Racially Charged Campaigns" Richards. Everyone knows how Janus was the Port Chester Republican Chairman and Billy Villanova was the Port Chester Republican Vice Chairman were in charge when Bart "The Bigot" Didden mailed his two page racist fliers all over Port Chester.

Worse yet, on election day, some ignorant fool put a swastika on a very large Port Chester Democratic campaign poster that was in front of the Post Office

Personally, I never Heard Billy denounce the election day swastika.

After the Bart "The Bigot" Didden racist fliers backfired on the Republican party, Janus stepped down and Billy became the new Port Chester Republican Chairman.

Everyone thought the disgraced Janus Richards slither back under the rock that he came from.

But no Billy moved Janus and his racially charged campgain tacticts over to Rye Town Board Meetings.

But everyone knows how much the disgraced Janus Richards loves racially charge campaigns. So after each Rye Town Meeting Janus, Billy would take Bernie Abel and his son Richard Abel out to the Port Chester Diner. Plus Janus Richards constantly would stop into the Westmore News and encourage Bernie and Richard Abel to come to the Rye Town Meetings.

Soon Bernie Abel and Richard Abel were telling wild tales about how the Town Of Rye is anti-Semitic. Bernie claimed that Rye Town was messing with his mail at the Post Office and that Rye Town was looking in his windows and threatening to kill him and his new wife.

At times the property tax deadbeat Bernie Abel would tell the Rye Town Police Officer to "Arrest Me"and "I want you to arrest me"

I started to hear jokes at Port Chester Diners about how Bernie and Richard Abel would soon be claiming that they had been kidnapped by space aliens and anally probed.

Residents of Rye Brook and Port Chester were all shocked at Bernie And Richard Abel. But what really shocked them was how Rye Town Councilman Billy Villanova encouraged and supported Bernie and Richard Abel's crazed behavior.

Then Billy started helping Joe Carvin talking down the Town Of Rye. Virtually every statement out of Billy's mouth was accusatory and full of false innuendo.

At first, I thought Billy was acting this way, because maybe he had a bit of an inferiority complex. I mean after all Billy had failed to complete high school and needed to get a G.E.D.

However, I was not worried because I thought Billy would eventually settle into his Rye Town Council Seat and become a cooperative and productive member on the Rye Town Board.

But it was hard for Billy to settle into his seat, because Janus Richards was yelling in one of his ears while Bernie Abel was yelling in the other ear.

Billy Villanova became more and more Political and adversarial. In fact, Port Chester Residents started saying that it was not proper for him to the Port Chester Republican Chairman and a councilman at the sane time.

Everyone now realized that they had elected a Republican Party Official to a Rye Town Council seat. Worse yet Billy seemed to place his Republican Chairman duties above those of his Rye Town Council Seat.

The Reason Mayor Dennis Pilla And Dan Brakewood have been successful and Billy Villanova has been a miserable failure is that Pilla and Brakewood are not political.

Let me give you an example.

At the last meeting I once again reported that Bernie Abel had failed to pay over 100 Property Tax Bills and how Rye Town had to take Bernie Abel to court in order to collect on other tax bills.

Now the property tax deadbeat Bernie Abel can't say that I am a liar, because I am telling the truth and Bernie Abel and the Westmore News recently lost a liable case.

So Bernie Abel gets Billy Vilanova to interrupt my Public comments at the Rye Town Republican meeting to ask Mr. Harrod can I ask where your paper is printed.

And when I answer that I generally print the paper in my office. He wants to know the exact address. So I give the address of my office in Greenwich.

So now Billy wants to make some big deal that I am some kind outsider, even though I operate a business in Port Chester since Billy was knee high to a grass hopper. I was collecting sales tax in Port Chester even before Billy Villanova gave up and dropped out of high school.

Now the Westmore News is not printed in Port Chester. The Journal News is not printed in Port Chester. Nor is the Westchester Guardian or other papers printed in Port Chester.

Before Billy rudely repeatedly interrupted my answer some of the issues of my paper have been printed at Pronto Printer in Port Chester.

But Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova has become an expert at making false innuendos about the Town, it's employees, it's officials, citizens and businesses.

When some comes to the town and says that Westmore News founder Bernie Abel was only acting up on cable TV, because he once again got caught cheating on his property taxes.

Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova, doesn't chastise Bernie for increasing his neighbors tax bills and hurting school children.

No, Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova want to attack the messenger with some false innuendo about where the paper is printed.

So the Homeowners pay higher taxes while Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova defends Bernie "I Forgot To Pay Over 100 Property Tax Bills" Abel.

Billy and Bernie have never said that I have lied about the unpaid property tax bills.

Nor has Billy and Bernie denied that Homeowners paid higher taxes, because of Bernie's failure to pay his property taxes.

Nor has Billy and Bernie denied that school children were hurt, because of Bernie's failure to pay the property tax bills.

Nor has Billy and Bernie denied that they are only attacking the Rye Town Supervisor, because of the current court case about Bernie's property.

No Billy wants to ask where my paper is printed.

But this is Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova stock and trade, the false innuendo.

Can anyone name one thing that Billy Villanova has brought to the Rye Town Board accept Chaos and false innuendos.

When is Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova going to learn that innuendos are an unfair political tactic.

Even though, I may disagree with how Port Chester Republican Chairman Billy Villanova conducts himself while sitting in the Rye Town Council Seat.

It would be fair to talk about his conduct while he is sitting in that seat. However, it would be unfair and unrelated if I wanted to talk about how Billy conducted himself around Ralph's son.

Billy's conduct around Ralph's Son has nothing to do with his duties as Port Chester Republican Chairman or as a Rye Town Councilman. So it would be wrong to talk about how Billy Villinova acted around Ralph's son and I wouldn't do that.

It would only be appropriate for me to talk about how Billy and Bernie conducts themselves at the Rye Town Meetings.

In fact, Billy should stop making false and misleading innuendos and start doing the peoples business while sitting in that Rye Town Council Chair. False and misleading innuendos are unfair and Billy should stop using them.

Billy needs to develop an open mind and stop listening almost exclusively to Bernie And Janus.

Maybe if Billy started listening to others in the community he might realize that Bernie's failure to pay over 100 property tax bills most likely severely hurt Port Chester Schools.

Maybe if Billy started listening to others he might realize that he might not have failed to graduate from Port Chester High School if the school would of had more money and resources.

Billy you are not the only one who failed to graduate from the cash starved Port Chester High School. Billy you might not have failed in high school if the school had more recourse's.

Billy do you remember trying to learn from old beat up text books.

Billy do you remember not having a well stocked school library.

The money from 100 property tax bills would have bought a hell of a lot of text and library books.Billy you and other Port Chester Children suffered, because of Bernie Abel's greed

Worse yet, If Joe Carvin Is Elected, Then Bernie Will Once Again Be Abel To Walk Away From His Property Tax Debt.

National problems with the subprime mortgage market are surfacing in the Lower Hudson Valley, as creditors go to court to foreclose in sharply higher numbers this year, a survey of county clerks' offices shows.

Mortgage counselors in the region say calls for their help are up as well, as homeowners who are behind on monthly payments scramble for ways to save their houses.

The prospects aren't good, some counselors say. Though there are some new programs to help borrowers looking to refinance, the programs have limits on how much money may be available. In many cases, it's less than what the borrowers need.

"Unfortunately, it's kind of grim," said Blanca Lopez, director of Port Chester-based Human Development Services of Westchester. "We know in the long run these people are not going to be able to afford their homes." .......

A homeless man took a leap of faith while trying to elude Port Chester police yesterday afternoon - but ended up with two broken ankles and an arrest warrant for his pains.
Curtis Stamps, 39, jumped from a third-floor bathroom at 13 Weber Drive as village police escorted a Child Protective Services agent there for an unrelated visit, explained Lt. Jim Ladeairous, Port Chester police.

"He has family there, but he's been given notice that he's not allowed on the property," Ladeairous said. "I guess he decided to elude us and jumped out the third-floor window and busted both his ankles."

Stamps has been banned from the Housing Authority's Weber Drive complex since April 2006, Ladeairous said. Police had a warrant for his arrest for criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, stemming from an Aug. 27, 2007, call that he was on the property.

A May 2006 effort to elude police on the property had also proved unsuccessful: Stamps threw his bicycle at an officer who tried to arrest him for trespassing on the parking lot. He was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and third-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest, misdemeanors.......

The Bridgeport Area Cultural Italian Organization is best known by its acronym, BACIO, which means "kiss" in Italian. BACIO sponsors lectures, dinners, films, Italian language classes and even wine-making sessions to fulfill its mission.Former Bridgeport Mayor Leonard S. Paoletta, who heads the group, said he is determined to do all he can to deepen Italian-Americans' appreciation of for their heritage.
"We should know whence we came and about all the contributions our forebears made to the world," said Paoletta, noting the influence of Italians in music, science and many other fields.
From his home in Easton, Paoletta regularly e-mails BACIO news to its 275 members. About 40 percent of members are from Bridgeport, a city that historically has had a large Italian-American population.

Source: Atlantic Yards Report
Plaintiffs in the eminent domain lawsuit challenging Atlantic Yards have already received a major setback in the case, after a federal court judge dismissed it for failure to state a claim, and as the appeal proceeds, a fierce set of response briefs from the defense ups the ante considerably.
The plaintiffs (a mix of 15 homeowners, commercial property owners, and residential and business tenants) and the defense (government agencies and officials) see controlling issues quite differently. The defense, drawing on U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis’s emphatic opinion, declare that the inquiry should end because the government—the ESDC—found that the project would achieve a public purpose, including affordable housing, an arena, and open space.
While that reflects longstanding Supreme Court doctrine, the plaintiffs look at it from another angle, arguing in their appeals brief that the court’s 2005 Kelo v. New London decision and Justice Anthony Kennedy’s concurrence require a more transparent sequence, which must be followed for condemnation to be legitimate. And in response, the defense says that Kelo doesn’t apply to this case and, even if it did, the sequence was legitimate.
The plaintiffs’ framework to some degree pushes the envelope—the ESDC points to the paradox that most commentators believed that Kelo “confirmed—and possibly even loosened—the already extremely deferential judicial review of the public purposes of proposed takings.” But the plaintiffs think it gives them more leverage.

The plan to present a preferred alternative for the Tappan Zee Bridge by February or March of next year will be pushed back.

The entire team working on the project of how to deal with the more than 50-year-old bridge and the need to enhance transportation capacity will present a new timetable next month, according to Michael Anderson, the state Transportation Department’s project manager.

Anderson told the Hudson Valley Regional Council meeting at Stewart Airport Tuesday the project is about more than just providing transportation from the Hudson Valley to New York City, but it will provide for a major east-west corridor.
"It's a 30 mile corridor between Suffern and Port Chester and if you extend, on either side with reasonable reach for the market, it easily becomes 60 miles," he said. "Now we've got .......
