02/10/11 More Of The Building Department's Coruuption Exposed: Port Chester Maintenance Worker Fired Over 'Outsourcing' Cleaning Duties

- Public Works General Foreman Gary Racaniello, who was in charge of the stolen parking meter funds collection, was served with 36 disciplinary charges and suspended without pay last year. He resigned.
- Disciplinary charges concerning the village’s parking meter revenue, were also leveled four months later against William Oxer who was suspended without pay. A disciplinary hearing is currently being scheduled for Mr Oxer.
- Last May, Port Chester Assistant Building Inspector Frank Ruccolo was suspended without pay pending disciplinary charges and eventually opted for retirement.
- A slew of disciplinary charges have also been leveled against many other DPW workers for various infractions, and one was fi red for stealing gasoline.
Why isn't Port Chester Chief of Police Joesph Krezminski arresting these guy's.
Mayorial Wanna Be And Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden has repeatedly complained that Port Chester Village Manager Christopher Russo should have asked for an updated W-4 form.
Village Manager Christopher Russo said he didn’t see how this fraud would have been discovered even if DeLisa had been required to update a W-4 form to change his deductions every year.
Mayorial Wanna Be And Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden seems not to understand that Mr. Delissa could have come in and updated his deductions on a W-4 and still have subcontracted it out,
Does Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden think that Mr. DeLissa Would have just walked into the village manager's office and filled a W-4 form in a manner that would have said that he was defrauding the state retirement system.
Sometimes, it is just shocking how clueless Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden is.
Village custodian got paid while another did the work
Village Manager Christopher Russo has uncovered another skeleton in Port Chester’s closet. A custodian who was employed by the village and whose hours were being reported to the New York State Retirement System for the last 11 years was actually subcontracting the work to another for the last 10 of those years.
Daniel DeLisa was hired as a part-time cleaner in March 2000. When he was fi rst hired, he was responsible for cleaning 110 Willett Avenue as well as the Department of Public Works yard offi ces on Fox Island Road. His business got busier, so he asked and received permission from then Building Inspector Lenny Cusumano, now deceased, for another person to do it.....
Abel's Fables
Once again, The Newspaper Founded By Bernie "My Family Is Doing Okay, Because I Forgot To Pay Over 100 Property Tax Bills" Abel Fails To Tell Its Readers Just How Bad The Decades Of Village Corruption Really Is.
The Westmore News Is Not Going To Push The Story To Far, Because They Are Afraid That Department Of Public Works Employees Will Start Talking About How Bernie Transfered Multi-Tenant Apartment Building Over To Family Members For As Little As A Hundred Bucks When The Village Started To Foreclose on Them.
God Forbid, That The Department Of Public Works Employees Started To Talk About How Some Of The Buildings That Port Chester Took From Bernie On Willow Street Mysteriously Went Up In Flames.
Maybe One Day Port Chester Roundup Will Have To Release A Few Of The Documents On Bernnie "I Forgot To Pay Over 100 Property Tax Bills" Abel
Now You Know Why Westmore News Publisher Richard "My Daddy Saved So Much Money On Property Taxes He Gave Me This Newspaper" Abel Has Failed For Decades To Uncover Corruption At The DPW.
For Decades The Westmore Snooze Has Been A Sleep At The Switch When It Cames To Uncover Port Chester Corruption.

02/08/11 PRESS RELEASE: Republican & Independence Parties, give popular village trustee nod to challenge incumbent Port Chester Mayor
Port Chester voters, unhappy with the direction of their local government, are uniting in their support of popular Village Trustee Bart Didden in his bid to unseat embattled incumbent Mayor Dennis Pilla in the village's upcoming spring election.
Didden has secured unanimous support from the local Republican and Independence Parties. Bart Didden will be the lone challenger to Democrat incumbent Dennis Pilla who is running for a third two-year term.
Didden, a successful local businessman who owns an alarm and security company located in Port Chester, was the top vote getter in this past June's election for six village trustees.
After serving in office on the Village Board for seven months, it didn't take long for him to realize that, in order to bring real change, he would have to run for mayor.
"Port Chester lacks leadership and is heading in a disastrous direction under Mayor Pilla, and if we don't turn things around quickly our village will be in real trouble for years," Didden said, referring to the village's ballooning debt and stagnating tax base.
"I have worked hard as a trustee to make this government more accountable and responsive to the needs of Port Chester residents. I have tried to make the village board get serious about our financial crisis. But the mayor has been totally unresponsive. Unfortunately, I have learned that one vote on the Board of Trustees is not enough to affect the change we desperately need," Didden explained.
"Real change has to come from the top. We need a new mayor --- a strong leader --- who is ready to enact sweeping reforms that will restore financial stability to Port Chester and allow our local community to grow and prosper once again."
Didden describes himself as an "independent thinker" who will work for practical solutions to Port Chester's problems, mainly reducing Port Chester's $37 million worth of debt.
"I'm a businessman; I employ dozens of people from our local community and I know how to meet a bottom line. That's exactly what we need in a mayor: someone who will run Port Chester like a business and make village government more accountable and responsive to our customers, the taxpayers."
Local party leaders agreed and organized overwhelming support for Didden's candidacy on the Republican and Independence ballot lines. Didden received unanimous support from both parties.
Didden outlined his platform and agenda as Port Chester's next mayor.
"We must get our debt under control by adopting a multi-year capital plan immediately. This will mean tough choices but we have to do it. At the same time, we cannot balance our operating budget on the backs of our taxpayers, which is why I'm proposing a freeze on local taxes. And we need better long term planning to guide Port Chester's future growth through an updated Master Plan and zoning ordinance."
Didden said he will also advocate for stricter code enforcement of buildings in Port Chester to address code violations such as jerry-rigged electrical wires, illegal occupancies, safety violations and overcrowding.
"Port Chester voters will have a clear choice in this election. If they are okay with skyrocketing debt, higher taxes and a government that ignores their needs, then they can vote to reelect Mayor Pilla," the candidate said.
"But if Port Chester residents are unhappy with the direction we're heading; if they are fed up with budget deficits, high taxes, and mismanaged government; if they want change and are ready to move in a new direction, then I am their candidate. I promise to bring the reforms needed for a better Port Chester."
Didden summed up his feelings on the race saying, "All around us we see examples of local governments --- places like Rye and Greenwich --- serving their residents much better than our government here. But I am proud to live in Port Chester. It's where I've made my home and raised my family. It's where I run my business. As a taxpayer and a stakeholder in this community, I feel we deserve better from our mayor. I know we can do better and I am ready to accept that charge."
02/06/11 Port Chester Trustee Joseph "Uncle Tom" Kenner Throws Village Minorities Under The Bus

What A Sell Out: Joseph "Uncle Tom" Kenner wants to propose a resolution would set aside $225,000 to retain Michael "My Familiy Is Cashing In" Carvin, brother of Republican and Rye Town Supervisor Joseph "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin, at a rate of $750 an hour to fight the Department of Justice.
What kind of cockamamie plan does Joseph "Uncle Tom" Kenner have: To make the hardworking residents of Port Chester loose another costly Federal case, so the Republican's and the Carvin family can once again take the taxpayers to the cleaners
Here Is An Editorial From The Village Idiot Joseph "Uncle Tom" Kenner ....
The Port Chester Board of Trustees agenda for Monday contains a resolution to authorize the hiring of counsel to appeal the voting rights case. Judge Stephen Robinson found that our historical system to elect trustees violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. The public will have an opportunity to be heard. I wanted to provide the facts that lead to my decision to support what two experienced voting rights lawyers have characterized as a powerful appeal with a substantial likelihood of success.
02/08/11 Residents to Joesph "Uncle Tom" Kenner: Are You Crazy !!! Don't Appeal The Voting Rights Lawsuit !!!!
Taxpayers in Port Chester may not like the federally-imposed cumulative voting system, but they sure in the hell don't want to pay for a costly appeal that is going to put $200,000 in the pockets of Michael "My Familiy Is Cashing In" Carvin, brother of Republican and Rye Town Supervisor Joseph "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin

01/25/11 Port Chester Turns Out To Picket Bart "The Bigot" Didden In Front Of T And J Villaggio Trattoria On Westchester Avenue
First Foul Mouthed And Bloated Rye Town Conservative Chair Sam Terenzi Could Not Get Port Chester Conservative Party Members To Support Bart "The Bigot" Didden.
The Conservative party leadership has been divided between hefty Sam "I Got Junk In My Trunk" Terenzi, the current Rye Town Conservative chair and Gene Branca, the popular and former longtime Rye Town Conservative chairMr. Branca is the son of former Port Chester Mayor John Branca.
If That Wasn't Bad Enough Bad News For Bart "The Bigot" Didden....
Twenty picketers showed up with signs against former Westmore News columnist Bart "The Bigot" Didden.
The signs made reference to Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden’s infamous 2007 flier attacking popular two term Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla and Latino supporters of his earlier mayoral campaign.
The lewd and crude racist mailer assembled by Bart "The Bigot" Didden, his wife and child became important evidence in the Justice Department’s successful voting rights lawsuit against the village of Port Chester. The Federal Judge strongly cited Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden's hate filled two page flyer when he ruled that Latino voters were effectively shut out of the trustee election process in Port Chester.
Ms. Rodriguez also was critical of USA Alarm owner Bart "The Bigot" Didden’s recent comments made at a public debate in the trustee race.Esau Rodriguez held a sign that said, “Bart does not represent you and me!”
Others read: “Port Chester deserves better than Bart.”
The twenty Port Chester protesters were confronted by Bart "The Bigot" Didden Supporter Town of Rye Supervisor Joe Carvin.
Fabiola Montoya said,“Racism and discrimination is everywhere."
Joe "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin tried speak to the largely Hispanic group in Spanish by saying my wife is a minority and she says Didden's flyer was not racist, but an example of race baiting.
Huh ????
'It's race baiting, but it's not racist" ????
Many protesters in the crowd wondered if Joe "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin had a bit too much to drink at T and J's bar and did not engage the lunitic Supervisor in further conversation.
Later inside the caucus at T And J Villaggio Trattoria the Rye town supervisor was fuming over the picketers’ use of the word “racist.”
The Rye Town Supervisor said the Port Chester protesters actions were "totally un-American,”
It looks like Joseph "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin has never heard of the First and Fourth amendments of the United States Constitution that he swore to protect and defend when he became Rye Town Supervisor.
Joseph "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin is just starting to come to grips with the fact that Didden's vitriol is going to destroy Port Chester, a community that has always proudly been known for welcoming immigrants.
Maybe, someone should remind Joesph "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin that School board member Blanca Lopez was a target of Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden's hate filled flier.
But none of this is important to Rye Town supervisor Joe Carvin, because his family is getting ready to make $200,000 off the backs of Port Chester taxpayers.
Joesph "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin is pushing Port Chester to set aside the money and pay his brother Michael "Ka Ching Ka Ching Ka Ching" Carvin $750 an hour to assist in the appeal of the voting right's case.
But Is Bart "The Bigot" Didden Slowly Starting To Reject His Racist Views????
To Didden's credit he did call his involvement in producing the hate filled flyer with Former Port Chester Board of Education President Dominic Bencivenga And Former Port Chester Trustee John Crane as “wrong”.
Diddeen said of the picket "I understand how some people feel it was insensitive. I've come to regret my participation. We learn from our mistakes.”
But is this just clever words and political spin from Didden???
Didden, then turned around and said the hate filled flyer was "not racist." Didden continued “It may have been insensitive, but racist, no.”
It Appears that Extremist TEA Party Lunatic Bart "The Bigot" Didden still refuses to accept that a Mayor takes an oath to represent all the residents of Port Chester.
Bart "The Bigot" Didden and his hate filled flyer became part of a national controversy of voter rights and cost the Port Chester millions and now Rye Town Supervisor Joe "The Harvard Educated Fool" Carvin's family wants to be the next set of heartless Republican's to get rich off of the Port Chester Voting Right's case.

01/25/11 Where The Hell Is The Westmore News? Port Chesr's US Senator Want To Seek Criminal Prosecution Against A Village Bussiness
Politicians outraged by National Collector’s Mint, fake 9/11 10th anniversary commemorative coins
BY Jennifer H. Cunningham
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Jerrold Nadler want to seek criminal prosecution for the ‘phony’ 9/11 commemorative coins. Smith for News Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Jerrold Nadler want to seek criminal prosecution for the ‘phony’ 9/11 commemorative coins.
Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Jerrold Nadler want to cashier a company they say is peddling bogus 10th anniversary 9/11 coins. “I think there should be criminal prosecution here,” Schumer said.
“I think people like this should be behind bars.” National Collector’s Mint, a private Port Chester company that has nothing to do with the US Mint, is selling 9/11 commemorative Liberian dollar coins claiming to be clad in “priceless silver recovered from Ground Zero.”
Schumer and Nadler said the origin of the silver cannot be verified.
They said they want the Federal Trade Commission to crack down on the company.
In a statement, the company said the silver was "bought from a company who received it through one of the banks who stored silver bars, coins, etc. in its vaults under the WTC."
"We have lawyers' letters and a complete chain of custody for the materials," said National Collector's Mint.
A TV ad for the $30 coin - $35.95 with shipping and handling - also suggests it has a federal okay, though it does not and is competing with an upcoming official silver medal to help finance the 9/11 memorial.
"Every dollar spent on the phony coins peddled by National Collector's Mint is $2 that could have gone to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum," said Nadler.
The company said "we don't understand" the assertion that each coin diverts $2 from the memorial. It said it has donated $2 million to 9/11 charities.
The pols said that while the coins are breathlessly advertised as clad in 14 mg of gold - 0.0005 ounce - and 14 mg of silver, that only adds up to about 60 cents' worth of precious metals.
"The amount of silver and gold advertised is correct," the company said.
In 2004, the company paid more than $2 million in refunds and penalties over "deceptive" ads for a "Freedom Tower Silver Dollar."
