Village delays new emergency room
Construction of a state-of-the-art emergency room at New York United Hospital Medical Center in Port Chester will not begin this summer, as officials had expected. Hospital officials said in March that they would break ground this summer, but plans to build the 16,000-square-foot facility have not yet been approved by the village, said Executive Project Manager Daniel Ocasio.
