PORT CHESTER TOPIX NEWS MESSAGE BOARD: Village Facebook Group Is Certainly No Stranger To Controversy

More Discord At Controversial Port Chester Facebook Group That Loves Negative And Mean Spirited Postings

The Making Port Chester A BITTER Place Face Group Is Turning Into A Glorified Petty Crime Police Blotter That Is Becoming A Local Version Of The National Enquirer.

Is Port Chester's Failed Mayoral Candidate Bart Didden's Cousin Kieth Morlino Feeding The False Image That Port Chester Is A Dangerous Place And Trying To Make It Look Like Port Chester Police Chief Joesph Krzeminski has lost control of crime in the village.

Sure crime is up in Port Chester in these hard economic times, but Kieth Morlino fails to report that crime in up in virtually every community in Westchester County and New York State.

How is Kieth Morlino's showcasing every out of town shoplifter at Kohl's making "Port Chester A Better Place"?

We don't think this is what Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla had in mind when helped facilitate the organizing of this controversial village group that has became so mean spirited.

The Making Port Chester A BITTER Place Face Group Is Turning Into A Glorified Petty Crime Police Blotter That Is Becoming A Local Version Of The National Enquirer

I don't think this is what Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla had in mind when helped facilitate the organizing of this controversial village group that has became so mean spirited.

‎"Making Port Chester a Better Place was an Idea by Keith Morlino to create a forum of which Port Chester residents, past and present, express their ideas and views on how to make the Village a better place. Instead it has become a glorified police blotter that puts too much emphasis on crime and whats wrong and a place where people bitch, moan, cry and complain. While I believe many of you support a better village. Most just participate to vent. Rather than focusing on the negatives, it would be more proactive to highlight the great things about PC and support the positive ideas and solutions that PC needs to grow and flourish. Like if you agree, positive comments please

  • Keith Morlino Ok then .....only positive stuff so ....no DWI s......?.. Whats important ? Hummmm this is going to be hard ...so I'll post it and have you guys comment on should or should I not post ....and see how this goes I'll give it a shot
  • Michael Bambace I have all the faith in you my friend that you will inspire the community with your positive postings and supportive articles!
  • Keith Morlino Still think the veal stealing was a good post

  • Diana Paniccia Berardi I think Keith should keep posting what HE feels is important for his readers to see. Even if that contains the less than perfect Port Chester events that occur. Isn't that why he started this?
  • Michael Bambace He didnt start this to showcase the petty crime in the village. I think he would agree to that. Either way its not proactive to highlight the crime in the village. Im sure there are many wonderful thing to share here besides DWI's and meat theft
  • Carolee Brakewood Would like to Make Port Chester a Better Place instead of a Bitter Place .

  • Joseph Amelio You tell 'em Keith!
  • Michael Bambace Bitter is the negative people, bright are the positive ones!
  • Keith Morlino Ill post and let people comment its newsworthiness ....if I get input from people "no good" then I'll stop posting ...if good ...ill keep posting trail and error
  • Michael Bambace Lets not turn this into the local version of the National Enquirer!

  • Michael Bambace Theres a big pothole on Midland ave near Home Depot... People need to know!

  • Keith Morlino This will be hard ... The original intention of this was to stimulate conversation about crime and how to address. I highlighted the crimes on the site in the hopes of discussing solutions to on going problems ... So maybe instead of me posting the crime and say nothing maybe post it with an open ended question on how to resolve ????? Maybe ????

  • Joseph Amelio The one who denounces the veal theft story is probably the one who stole the veal! Just saying...
  • Michael Bambace Damn Joe, i would have gotten away with it if it wasnt for those meddling kids! Lol
  • Joseph Amelio Where's the beef!
  • Michael Bambace I saw a pile of chicken bones on the sidewalk near garden catering. I'm not sure if they were involved in a crime. I will alert the Patch, they seem to like these kinds of stories.
  • Jeanna Alberga Keith, I think you should post the positive and the negative. The positive makes us proud. The negative makes us think, contribute, and come up with solutions. It is only through such discussions that people can be made aware of things and bring the truth to light. Communication is what it is all about.
  • Regina Grillo I agree... i like getting news here and it is all relevant to pc...keep posting away Keith...
  • Linda Turturino People are bitter Carolee because they are not happy I dont think i need to go into why it is very very very sad
