CHOWHOUND CHATTER ABOUT PORT CHESTER
Anyone have any info about the new batali/bastianich resto in port chester??
i'm sure it hasn't opened yet, but does anyone have any kind of information about it? my mom and i used to actually work at the tarry lodge, where this new place is going to be...at least it's going to be an italian place, and something westchester really needs to boot! thanks for any info
Bastianich/Batali to come to Port Chester?
I knew they had their eyes on that space. Many years ago, the Tarry Lodge served me up some of the best fried calamari I ever had in the county. Their quality slowly faded, unfortunately. I'm also reminded of the old Amerigo's on the county line in Byrum just up the street. Another nice memory. If Batali and Bastianich acquire that space, I hope it becomes an eatery, and not a wine shop. We'll have to just wait and see.

Thank You, Sergeant Barnes. We can ill-afford the loss of such as you. I pray to be worthy of your sacrifice. Thank You to All Who Serve. I will never forget what you’ve accomplished.
