08/19/07 - Port Chester's Skeeter James Served As The Unofficial Photographer For A Neighborhood Block Party

Before settling down for a hot dog, Kennedy King had her face painted as a pink and blue butterfly and romped in an inflatable castle at the Armstrong Court Block Party, she said.
'I went in the jumpy jumpy house,' said the four-year-old, who lives there with her father. 'You can hold on inside and it's better and more fun.'

With a DJ spinning hip-hop hits, adults painting children's faces, and an abundance of hamburgers, hot dogs and other picnic fare, more than 100 Armstrong Court residents and guests spent the afternoon catching up at their regular summer block party........

......Skeeter James, a Port Chester, N.Y., resident came to spend time with his grandchildren who live there, and also served as unofficial photographer for the event.

'What they put on here is good for all ages,' James said. 'The kids are having a wonderful time.'
