Within hours of being nomated to run for a Port Chester village Board of Trustees seat, a Republican political newcomer has withdrawn from the race.
When Terenzi accepted the line Xe was pressured to step down.
The truth is that no Republican Party insider wanted to be the fall guy that would have to resign if Terenzi kept his end of the bargain.
Welcome to Port Chester politics Mr. Xe.
If the Port Chester Republican Party was half as smart as it thought it was, it would have kept Jing Xie and dumped the greedy self centered taker Sam Terenzi, who has his snout in half a dozen public troughs.
But we all know, that people have to wined, dined and pocket lined and all of those rental units have to be built across from the Kohls Shopping center.
Who cares if Port Chester taxpayers like Jing Xie will have to see their school taxes skyrocket as those units fill up with children.
The only important thing is that the greedy self centered takers get paid off.

The decision by Jing Xie, who had accepted the GOP nomination at a caucus on Tuesday night, was made to improve the chances of the three other Republican candidates in the trustees race, according to Port Chester Republican chairman Joseph Kenner, who is also a village trustee seeking re-election.
Kenner said Xie called him Wednesday morning to withdraw his nomination because “with cumulative voting in place, we will have a better chance of winning with three candidates versus four."
“As the Chairman of the Port Chester Republican Party Committee, I regret that the people of Port Chester will not have the benefit of experiencing Jing Xie’s intelligence, energy and great vision for BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...."

HERE IS THE REST OF THE STORY THAT THE NEW AOL PATCH REPORTER IS TOO NEW TO REPORT ABOUT AND THE JOURNAL NEWS IS TOO CLUELESS KNOW ABOUT.....
Oh Yeah That's Right...... Westchester County Employee, Port Chester, Port Chester Industrial Development Agency Vice Chairman and Republican Party Chairman Joseph Kenner suddenly woke up this morning and said,"Oh My God!!! What have I done? I only need three candidates in a village that has cumulative voting!!! What in the world am I going to do?"
Kenner used Xie as an unwitting backup, because Sam Terenzi was had threatened not to accept the line and run as a only a Conservative / Independent candidate, because he was upset that the Republican Party was not going to endorse his pal Bart "The Bigot" Didden.
Later a deal was made, that did not include giving Bart Didden the Port Chester Republican nomination. Everyone except Didden would get the Republican line and the two minor party lines,
But there was a fear that Terrenzi could not be trusted, so Xie was buttered up to run as a useful idiot and backup. Xe actually thought they wanted to apply his IBM experience in Port Chester.
How in the world is Xe's IBM experience going to get hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of rental units built in the old United Hospital site?
