Deliberate Tax Defaulter And CPA Sam Terenzi Is Upset That The Media Is Allowed To Name Tax Cheats In Port Chester. Port Chester CPA Sam Terenzi criticised the move of disclosing that just one of his NYS Tax Warrants equals $107, 381.99.

Mr. Terenzi said that it could harm his future ability to run his business. Port Chester taxpayers however,
have praised the move that publicly lists Mr. Terenzi's decade of federal and New York State tax cheating.

Many Port Chester voters have called Village Trustee Sam Terenzi's failure to pay his taxes the "height of hypocrisy".

To many Port Chester property tax payers the Terenzi is a welcomed disclosure that will help them choose wisely in the upcoming village elections.

Satirical Update....

CANDIDATES OFFER SUPPORT FOR DELIQUESCENT TAX PAYER WHOSE VOTE IS NEEDED TO GET 820 RENTAL UNITS APPROVED

Some Elected Officials Seem To Think That Is Okay Not To Pay Your Taxes

Neil Pagano, the Republican party candidate who is running for mayor in Port Chester wants to stop what he said is "madness" of public official who do not pay New York State and federal taxes.

"More work is needed to be done to create more tax compliance and expand the tax base", Pagano added.

Pagano asked Port Chester Village homeowners to give his running mate Sam Terenzi to pay his decade of unpaid state and federal taxes.

"Rome was not built in a day and Sam is going to need more time to pay his tax obligations", said Niel Pagano who is a Port Chester landlord who is rumored to have 27 open permits on just one of his many Port Chester buildings. "Give me two years and I promise you I can get Sam to pay some of his taxes."

Pagano's cousin Bart Dideen who's office did not have a certificate of occupancy and is also running for trustee agreed saying,"New York State needs to do a better job of tax compliance.

"The issues with Mr. Terenzi is a New York State problem and not a Port Chester Problem." Didden said "He owes New York hundreds of thousands of dollars, not Port Chester. So he should be allowed to be a village trustee with Neil and I.

Port Chester Republican Chairman Joe Kenner, who is also running for trustee said,"Sam is a Certified Public Accountant here in the village and I am sure he has a good reason for not paying his Federal and state income taxes for over a decade. Besides we need Sam if we are going to get those 820 rental units approved on the former United Hospital site."

Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla said he doesn't think the 820 rental units is really the best option for Port Chester tax payers.

Candidates for the six available trustee positions square off at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Room 229 of Port Chester High School, 1 Tamarack Road.

Pagano, Kenner and Didden have promised to be there to support Sam Terenzi even though just one of his New York State Tax Warrants is for $107, 381.99

One longtime Port Chester political observer remarked,"Neil already failed the test of character when on the Port Chester Industrial Development agency he used his first chance to vote for a cronie, former Republican Trustee Joe Carlucci, a pal of Pagano's dad, to be the IDA attorney."

Mayor Pilla urged the Port Chester IDA to vote for a more qualified and independent firm, but was voted down by Port Chester Republican Chairman Joe Kenner who is also Pagano's IDA Vice Chairman.

Republican Candiate Frank Farrara, who also sits on the Port Chester IDA with landlord Neil Pagano responded with, Do you think I care what the Mayor wants or about that silly village master plan? I support Bart Didden's Cousin Neil Pagano and my fellow IDA board member Joe Kenner. We have got to get those 820 rental units built at the United Hospital site and Pilla is simply in the way.

When asked about his running mate Terenzi's failure to pay federal and New York State taxes for over a decade, Mr Farrara,, who claims to have
been an equity portfolio manager for high-net-worth individuals for the past ten years...

"Do you think Sam is the only one? Greenwich resident Leona Hemsley said it best, "
We don't pay taxes. Only the little peoplepay taxes.' Mr. Ferrara also added," Later I am going to sit down with Sam and structure things so that he is judgement proof. Maybe we can set up a Swiss bank account that is owned by a secretive Cayman Island's Trust. The only thing is that. I just want to see how he votes on the Greenwich developers proposed  820 rental units at the United Hospital site."
