03/09/10 ONLY IN PORT CHESTER: Even If You Tried You Just Couldn't Make This Stuff Up

Once Again Port Chester Voters Are Wondering What Kind Of LSD Are The Putting In Bart Didden's TEA

Extremist TEA Party Lunitic Bart "The Bigot" Didden Is Seeking To Put Spiritual Leaders From Port Chester's Churches And Temples In The Middle Of A Campaign Practices Complaint About This Year's Mayoral Election.

Yes It Is True, Bart "The Bigot" Didden Says That He Going To The Next Westchester Fair Campaign Practices Committee Today To Whine And Complain That Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla Has A Factual Ad That Says He Refused To Sign A Port Chester Clergy's Pledge To Keep The Election Civil.

Last month a group of Port Chester's spiritual leaders asked to meet with mayoral candidates on a busy Sunday afternoon last month, they were hoping for two things – a chance to tell Mayor Dennis Pilla and Bart Didden what's on their minds, and they wanted a pledge from both men to keep the election civil, fair and honest.

Both Port Chester Mayorial Candidates showed up to All Souls Church for the Feb. 20 meeting – Didden refused to sign the campaign pledge and left the meeting.

Mayor Dennis Pilla arrived to find an angry Bart Didden telling Port Chester's clergy he wouldn't participate in the meeting or sign the pledge.

Mayor Pilla even left a friend's wedding that he officiated at, because he felt the clergy's members meeting was so important to attend.

One church leader had left his wife with two sick kids home to attend the meeting that Bart Didden suddenly canceled.

Another pastor mentioned how difficult it was to rearrange his schedule, since Sunday was his busiest day.

Why didn't Bart Didden tell Port Chester's Clergy members days beforehand that he was not going to sign the pledge to be civil, fair and honest.

In Bart's letter to the WFCPC, he argues that the mayor's signing of the pledge – and calling for Didden to do the same – is tantamount to a personal attack.

In Didden's bizare and petty liitle world asking
someone to be civil fair and honest is a personal attack.

How dare Port Chester' clergy members ask
Bart Didden to be civil fair and honest !!!

The out of control Bart Didden has even got in a petty little e-mail exchange with the Reverand Bruce Baker of All Souls.

Didden complained that one of the church leaders said it was "a slap in the face" to show up at the meeting, only to have it fall apart before it started.

In his reply to Reverend Baker, the out of control Bart Didden said he "still can't believe a member of your meeting could say such a thing."

Rev Baker wrote about Diiden's refusal to sign the campaign pledge to be civil, fair and honest by saying he was "puzzled by that decision."

Did Reverend Baker really think that Bart "The Bigot" Didden would come to a Kumbya Meeting with the village leaders and have a Hallelujah Moment

The Reverend Baker had better brace himself, because
Bart Didden always gets real nasty during the last week of a campaign.

Let's just hope this year that it is not another two page racist flyer
that attacks some of the most vulnerable members of Port Chester society

The rumor around town is that Didden has a nasty video that he is about to release

The only good news is that political insiders say that the USA Central Station Alarm Company's nasty video will probably backfire and blow up in his face, just like the two page racist flyer did in 2007

Bart Didden's "Brilliant" Political Ideas Always Seem To End Up Disgusting Voters
And Costing Many More Votes Than The Crude Tactic Attract

So today that strange bird known as Bart Didden is headed to the Westchester Fair Campgain Practices Committee today to whine about Mayor Dennis Pilla's advertisement featured a campaign pledge by the mayor to avoid personal attacks, smears and codewords for race and immigration.

In large type, the campaign ad reads: "I signed this clean campaign pledge. Why won't my opponent?"

Pilla's advertisement does not mention or directly reference Didden's now-infamous 2007 anonymous flier that was used as proof of local racism in the federal voting rights case. Didden's flier declared "THE HISPANICS ARE RUNNING THE SHOW ALREADY" and portrayed the mayor as a lapdog who would "jump, fetch, beg or bark" on behalf of the village's Hispanic population.

Didden mailed the flier from a Greenwich address in an effort to make it appear that it was authored by the the publisher of the True Blue Conservative Review, who lived in Byram at the time.

Former Westmore News columnist Bart Didden denied authoring it to the Journal News until the True Blue Conservative Review said that they had two of the 1000 racist mailers and that the True Blue Conservative's mailers were sealed and unopened.

The True Blue Conservative Review then reported that the sealed envelopes with Bart Didden, his wife and child's finger prints on the inside were being turned over to the United States Justice Department.

Before There Was Twitter ....

Tweet, Tweet, Tweet Bart Didden Sang Like A Canary

When Bart "The Bigot" Didden was called to testify in federal court during the voting rights case that brought cumulative voting to Port Chester. Under the threat of perjury, he admitted writing and distributing the flier.

In his deposition and in Federal court Bart "The Bigot" Didden said that Port Chester School Board President Dominic Bencivenga and Port Chester Trustee John Crane helped him prepare the racist two page flyer designed to look like the True Blue Conservative Review.

He also admitted that his wife and child helped him assemble the racist two page flyer at home. It looks like the family that hates together hates together.

Bart "The Bigot" Didden's flier has recently come to the forefront again, because of the board of trustee's recent vote to appeal the Department of Justice's decision that imposed federal oversight on village elections.

When Didden earned the Republican nomination for mayor in January, a group of protestors held up signs with anti-racism messages outside the caucus at T And J's Restaurant on Westchester Avenue.
